Top Insights of the Week
1. 🤝 Zuck's NEXT BIG Shift, AI Meet...
Imagine doing everything you do now on your phone, but using just eye tracking, hand gestures, and thoughts. NO PHONE. That’s the future Mark Zuckerberg envisions, and he thinks it’s closer than we realize…It’s called Ambient Computing.
Ambient computing transforms how we engage with the world—lets devices predict your needs and work without input.
If there’s anyone out there than can make this happen, it’s Zucks. And his first BIG push is with Orion.
AR sunglasses that offer seamless AI integration for ambient computing.
Uses a wristband to control eye tracking, hand gestures, and thoughts.
Uses Meta's AI to blend the digital world with the real world.
Doubt he’s the guy to bring this new paradigm shift? Good luck…
Meta's open-source AI (Llama 3) push is HUGE. Meta Horizons OS also open-source. AI assistants now on all their apps.
Meta predicts ~$99B in expenses for 2024, fueled by computing expansion.
Meta used AI to beat Apple’s privacy changes and cut operations costs.
Meta’s stock is up 60% YTD, with Meta AI now reaching 500M users.
Zuckerberg added $73.4B to his net worth in 2024 alone.
Don’t be surprised if ambient computing takes over in the next decade.
Google’s "hidden interfaces," displays that appear on almost any surface.

3. 💸 The Data Center Pump Is Real (Billions Pouring In)
Where’s the AI ROI? Apparently, it doesn’t matter. AI revenue gap continues to widen from $125B to $500B. Perfect example is the mind blowing pace data centers are being built.
U.S. data center construction spending has spiked by 60% since last year.
Virginia and Ohio lead in construction, due to tax breaks and cheaper land.
Who’s dropping the bags?
Will this large spend pay off? Some of the criticism is solid, “Tech giants and beyond are set to spend over $1T on AI capex in coming years, with so far little to show for it.” But, here’s the counter argument—tech revolutions often start with short-term bubbles that are later justified.
Internet started with dial-up. Later, telecom companies came in and invested more than $1.6T in broadband, which seemed wasteful after the dot-com crash. We all know how that story ended. Same for 19th-century railroad expansion.
Do we have a capital expenditure problem? Maybe. But we saw this during the dot-com boom. Companies built data centers, but by the time they were profitable, new telecom equipment and servers were needed, causing write-offs.
Right now, big tech isn't focused on short-term revenue. It's about an AI arms race they can't afford to sit out.
4. 💊 Two FDA Approvals Shaking Up Big Pharma
It’s been a wild couple of weeks for the FDA. Two MAJOR approvals on our radar—one drug has the potential to make a dent in homelessness and the other one can cut cancer recurrence by 42%! Both belong to one company…Bristol-Myers Squibb.
Cobenfy, targets schizophrenia with significantly fewer side effects. Schizophrenia affects 2.8M Americans and can lead to homelessness.
Opdivo, for lung cancer surgery, cuts the risk of recurrence by 42%.
Bristol-Myers Squibb isn't the only one we have our eye on…
Amgen awaits approval to expand LUMAKRAS for treating a specific type of metastatic colorectal cancer.
These two companies are betting big on filling treatment gaps, potentially transforming care and unlocking a few billion-dollars in the process.

Idk about his data pump but if history is any indication, its something he’s either copied or stolen… From my own personal experience he wanted me to change my pen name so his corporate “DoctorBuzzard” could capitalize upon my good body of free service that stretches from the 1970s to present. When I refused to give in to his demands my “DoctorBuzzard” was banned from Facebook and my Instagram site of nearly a decade was taken down. There will be a recommendation to the DoJ for Class Action because I’ve talked to a friend of mine who won Miss World beauty contest and FB did the same to her as I imagine he has pulled this trick on many others.
Someone needs to show Zuck that money and tech are not substitutes for spirituality. If there were no soulless ads monetized on Meta, his precious status would nil
