#5 CRWD
This week we saw some very mixed trading sessions and volatility making a comeback. Heading into the day on Tuesday and given the uncertainty, we posted 5 ideas and mentioned that these would be day trades only. CRWD was 1 of the 5 and did as expected. If you took the idea Tuesday morning and sold at the close you could have benefited from a one day return of 3%.
#4 SQ
Square was featured in this morning’s newsletter. Today, the markets were steadily increasing, thus not requiring much trade management. If you took the idea this morning and sold at the close you could have benefited from a one day return of 3.5%.
#3 ROKU
Roku was another one of Tuesday’s day trade ideas. This too was an effortless day trade. If you took the idea Tuesday morning and sold at the close, you could have benefited from a one day return of 4.2%.
#2 LULU
Lululemon was featured in Monday morning’s newsletter, where we were looking to buy above $295. The stock actually opened lower and seemed strong, but if you stuck with the idea and bought at $295, you were rewarded handsomely the next day with a strong move and then a gap higher on Wednesday. If you took the idea Monday at $295 and sold Wednesday morning you could have benefited from a three day return of 10.2%.
#1 WKHS
Workhorse is #1 for two consecutive weeks now. This trade was mentioned a few times this week but never triggered. We decided to give it one more chance and included the idea in this morning’s newsletter and patience and persistence paid off. If you took the idea this morning and sold just before noontime you could have benefited from a 14.4% return. But if you fell asleep at the wheel and held it all the way to the close you still would have benefited form a one day return of 12.11%.
